Leadership
Hello, I’m Shahnaz Rahat Kapadia, Chairperson of Maan-e-Muskan. It is both an honor and a privilege to lead this organization, which is deeply rooted in the values of dignity, empowerment, and sustainable development. My journey with Maan-e-Muskan has been inspired by the profound potential I see in every community we serve and the shared vision we have for a more equitable and prosperous future.
Maan-e-Muskan, meaning “Pride in Smiles,” is more than a name—it is a reflection of our mission to foster resilience, joy, and progress across underserved communities in Pakistan. As an extension of Mera Maan Pvt Ltd, our work is enriched by years of expertise, strong partnerships, and the unwavering commitment of a vibrant network of changemakers, including youth and adolescent volunteers, who are the heartbeat of our initiatives.
Our work spans diverse but interconnected areas, from addressing gender-based violence and championing equality to fostering economic empowerment through grassroots enterprises. At the core of our approach is the belief that sustainable change begins when communities are equipped with the tools and opportunities they need to thrive. The College for Community-Based Changemakers stands as a testament to this belief, training a new generation of leaders who are driving impactful transformations across Pakistan.
Maan-e-Muskan serves all communities with a commitment to inclusivity, innovation, and collaboration. We listen to the voices of those we serve, designing programs that not only address their immediate needs but also pave the way for long-term progress. Together, we are building a foundation for hope, dignity, and opportunity, one community at a time.
As we move forward, I invite you to join us on this transformative journey. Whether through collaboration, advocacy, or action, your support can amplify our impact and help us reach even more lives. Together, let’s create a legacy of sustainable change that will inspire generations to come.
Warm regards,
Shahnaz Rahat Kapadia
Chairperson Maan-e-Muskan
